We seek to groom dynamic minds in various aspects that contribute to sustainable development. In achieving this objective, RCESD recruits and trains interns across the fields of environment, development and governance yearly. This contributes to capacity that enables local people to bargain their interests in development actions and take up proactive roles that could guarantee sustainable livelihoods opportunities. RCESD run 3 main sub-programs under the capacity building programs
Our main objective here is to develop the expertise of earlier career professionals through focus training on creativity and leadership in line with their career choice. Our internship program is of 2 type category:
- School placement
Under the school placement, RCESD opens its doors to students from different universities and colleges within Cameroon as a requirement for the completion of studies and award of degrees. This program runs from July to September yearly. Here, RCESD aim to blend theory with practical and give them and experience of the professional world.
- Professional internship
The main objective is to develop the expertise of earlier career professionals through focus training on creativity and leadership in line with their career choice. RCESD recruits and trains a large number of interns across the fields of environment, development and governance yearly. Our professional internship program is designed to run for 6 months, within which the interns go through a set of activities like career coaching, training and outdoors exercises and so much more.
- VOLUNTEER ISM
Volunteering programs are open to young people who have experience and skills on how the professional world operates, but wish to gain more experience and expertise in the non-profit world. The volunteerism program is more of a knowledge exchange set-up between the volunteer and the our organization This program is also designed to run for 6 month.
